Pandora & Aphrodite

The aims of this ten-day residency were to demonstrate traditional and contemporary Craft Based Skills i.e. stone carving and clay work based on the theme of 'The Human Figure', to enhance the work of other past residencies and inspire the secondary school students.

A large Portland Stone Sculpture based on the story of 'Pandora & Aphrodite' was completed during the residency, along with classroom talks and lectures and some hands-on experience from the pupils.
